I have a thing for books... all books... but art books are my thing. Someone sent me a book on pastel master Paula Rego and I was hooked. The pastels create such lush and deep colors.
As for this pastel drawing’s subject, I think we have all been here… one second swearing them off forever, the next eager to see if they texted… that blue glow of the phone is our candle calling us like moths back to their attention.
