She Wasn’t Going to Wait All Night is my 11” x 15” orignal acrylic statement painting on archival paper. This is not a print or copy. This original painting, direct from my studio, is signed and dated on the front and back by the artist (me). Availability limited, rare collectible art.
I like to play around with placement of everything in my work. Although everything is there, everything is off at the same time… in some cases, way off. This painting, this woman reflects how time impacts and distorts the way things look in our mind even a few minutes later or even a few days later.
This is a vibrant painting of a nude woman stretched across her abstract four post bed. The walls, bathed in golden light from a lamp, glitters with colorful modern art (a central component of this artist’s life from birth as my father is also an artist). The floor has a bright red rug that pops from the floor as if to reveal the eye to the bottom left of the work. The eyes have become a reoccurring theme in my work as of recent.
This easy to frame art painting will only be available for a limited time.
