She Wasn’t Going to Wait All Night - 11” x 15” ORIGINAL acrylic painting on archival paper. This is not a print or copy. This original painting, direct from my studio, is signed and dated by the artist (me).
I like to play around with placement in my work. Although everything is there, everything is off at the same time… in some cases, way off. This painting, this woman reflects how time impacts and distorts the way things look in our mind even a few minutes later or even later in our stew of memories.
This is a vibrant painting of a nude woman stretched across her abstract four post bed. The walls, bathed in golden from a lamp, glitters with colorful modern art (a central component of this artist’s life from birth as my father is also an artist). The floor has a bright red rug that pops from the floor as if to reveal the eye to the bottom left of the work. The eyes have become a reoccurring theme in my work as of recent.
This one of a kind work does not come framed but is an easy to frame size (pictured with 2” white mat and .5” black frame).
