Space Can Be Such A Lonely Place is a 12” x 12” orignal acrylic modern art statement painting on birch plywood. This an the original acrylic painting, not a print or copy. This painting is initialed and dated on the front lower right as well as signed and dated on the back by the artist (me).
I think outer space looks like such a lonely place. All that dark, cold vastness must be kind of overwhelming. It brings to mind the Beatles song Eleanor Rigby… but turns out there are a whole bunch of us who wouldn’t mind the peace and quiet one bit. I for one, will continue my search for that peace and quiet here on Mother Earth.
This painting of a larger star in a sea of not so black, but also blue space, surrounded by far off distant stars seems gloomy and dark at first, but it’s really not. The more you look the more this little star warms your heart.
